Acts of charity, especially if the person is someone Doze can imagine taking a liking to, are something of a pastime. Doze’s guilty conscience could use some polish, and this would be a nice enough way to spend an hour or so.

He considers the fact that someone would try to return pay for a gift. Either he has a genuine; bleeding-heart kind of gentleman on his hands, or the man simply doesn’t wasn’t to be indebted to the Felt. Fair, in either case.

CW mentally bites their lip in thought, they didn't want to impose too much on the strangers kind offer. Better to let them choose the place and get the food they liked.

I'm open to anything honestly, a-as long as the food tastes good. I-I don't mind a bit of travel, I have...a lot of time of my hands at the moment.

Amicable and friendly, they have a propensity for it, Prospitians. It's one of the reasons Doze tends to favor them over Dersites...though he'd never dare even think that too hard around Snow. Good company is nearly impossible to come by, and a little bit of a calm, kindly chat seemed it might do them both some good.
